I'm looking to buy a skid loader and there is a vertical lift on this web site. They make it sound like its a great deal. Can anyone tell me the difference of if they like using them?

We have used radial loaders up until 3 years ago. We had three 236Bs and loved them. We made the switch to 262Cs and 252B2s and have replaced all of them. There were fights on the who had to run the radials. Doesn't sound like a big deal having a little extra reach at the top of you lift cycle but it makes a difference in material handling. Large round bales, pallets, and loading dump trucks. In my opinion well worth the small cost. If the machine was only being used for grade work you its not really needed and you eliminate a couple pivot points.

It all depends on how you tend to use your skid steers. If you are running cold planers, rakes, mowers, etc., a radial lift will work for you because of the extra pivot points the vertical lift has.
But if you plan on loading trucks, then the vertical lift skid steer will outperform the radial lift.
Hope this helps and post more if you have any questions.
