We have a problem with one diesel generator , it shows very high lube oil consumption,  you can't keep running the engine without add constantly lube oil to sump tank

The following items have been checked:

- Exhust gas is normal

-There is not pressuraized crankcase

-Oil coiler hydro tested satisfactory

-Oil seal (crankshaft) is ok

-No cracks at the sump case 

-Turbo chargers ok

Please provide a technical advise , what we should check further !

When you say "very high" how about a number like in gallons or liters per hour?

Oil has to go somewhere, so you're sure it's not going out the stack or the breather?  It's not going into the coolant? 

How many hours on the engine since overhaul or any major service?

Do you have another generator of the same type? What is it's consumption?

When did the problem start to occur?  Has long has been happening? Getting worse or staying the same?

We did a vey carefull checking and hopefully have found the problem !!

The rear crankshaft seal and wear sleeve need to be replaced
