anyone has information regarding this display?
i am interested in buying one, but ican't find any extended details about it, and my delaer was unalble to help me saying that they requested information from CAT and they are still pending to receive further information.
i have a boat with two C18.
i would like to know whether i can get the user manuals, installation guides, part numbers, specially the cables and plugs needed for installation, the software (builder)...
i think the part number is: LEDM8062
the brochure is:

Color Marine Power Display is 2843001. LEGM8130 is the media number for the basic operator manual. A J1939 harness will need to be installed from the engines to the display. Your boat may already have this harness.

Thanks Dave for the information, yes you are right, the part number is the one you posted,
I have some cables coming from the engine as I had the Cat Messenger installed,
but the issue is that the Color Marine Power Display came without any plugs, nor catalogues...
so i am in need of the installation catalogue, the user manual, and any other information available,
and as you can notice, the part has three plugs, one for the cameras connection, one for power, and one shows a USB sign, i am in need of the plugs, and their schems of connection....

Media # LEGM0001 is the installation guide for marine displays. Your local Cat dealer can order or download this for you. The display usually comes with the 12 pin connector for installation but not the video or USB plugs. Also, the new display will not work until the software is installed. Contact your local Cat dealer for this.

actually i got the display from my local CAT dealer, and they said they wanted to try to see whether they can connect it or not, and they were the ones not to provide the catalogues.
i had to pay fully to get the part, its number is 284-3001-02 as they say it is already programmed.
but it came with no plugs nor catalogues...

Here are two corrections to the above information.
- Color Marine Power Display does not ship with 12-pin connector
- The Jumper on pin-1, 2 or 3 is not needed.
- You do not need the builder software, the screens can be changed by using the buttons.
If you want to use one Color Marine Power Display with two engines, you will need 323-5180 harness or you can make your own. Make sure you have the diodes installed so you don't cross feed power or keyswitch

Thanks Guys,
but actually the Color Marine Power display come with three plugs, each of 12 pins,
one is green colored witha video logo, which i assume is for the 4 video inputs that the display can show, but what does each pin relate to?
the second plug is a black colored and shows a power symbol, also 12 pins,
and the third one is grey colored, with USB sign, also 12 pins...

Hi Guys,
seems that finally the local dealer got the right information and connection diagrams, cause they called me to pay for the plugs they ordered, and they are willing to test install it on the yacht tomorrow maybe.
thanks for all of you...

To those with the new Color Marine Power Displays.
1. In general, are you pleased with them?
2. Are they much easier to read in the bright sunlight?
3. What is the approximate cost for each unit?
My engines are C9's.
Thanks,
JTS
