My 2001 Peterbilt C-15 475 runs and occasionally will shut off and then back on quickly enough to stay running with no interruption to the gauges on the dash.   Has a few times died driving down road and when immediately trying to start will crank and turn over but will not start, after a few cycles of cranking it will start and run.  Have checked batteries, alternator, have checked ECM with pro-link shows no codes or problems.  Have wiggled ignition key trying to cause the malfunction but did now occur.  Any suggestions or recommendation would appreciated and checked out,  thank you.

I realize my problem was not on a marine engine by a small chance an electrical problem would be comparable. After many views and no help, my witch hunting paid off, i don't mind helping someone anyway. I replaced the cam sensor and that cured my problem.

    I have a same problem with a C11 mounted on a 966H , it looks like a ECM on the engine is blinking, so I check the wires for a power supply and ground, but I don't  found any problem with them, so I put this ECM on the another 966H and the problem appears again. After changing the ECM problems disappear.
