Hello,
I am currently working on a project that requires estimation of noise level from the two caterpillar engines being used. The first model is G 3306NA (DM5211-06) and the second model is the G 3412LE (DM5206-04). I have checked the technical data sheet available online and did not find this information. Where can I get this information?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can get the Mechanical and Exhaust Noise in GERP (Gas Engine Rating Pro). Just enter the engine information using the performance data and the select the Tech Data Output tab on the left bar. Once in the Tech Data Output section, you can select the Sound Data tab from the top and get the sound information.
If you do not have GERP, you can download the free software at the Global Petroleum Power Net website under the products section/gas compression/GERP.
If you have further questions on this or any other technical information. You can always have your dealer submit an inquiry into the Caterpillar Application Support Center.
Thanks,
Eric Seubring
