Have received the request to meet 0.20 mm/s levels on G3600 engines, A&I says 0.34 mm/s is the max. allowable value. Does anybody have seen that the values in a good installation do exceed 0,2 mm/s.

Is this a gas compression application? What type of compressor? What kind of cooling system? Lower vibration levels can be met on a well designed package, at least in my opinion, depending on a number of factors. But a light base, poor foundation, lots of engine driven equipment all add to the overall vibration magnitudes.
A well performed set of alignment checks/adjustments on a properly designed mounting system can achieve overall vibration limits below your target. Keeping the unit below those limits will require regular recheck and as need adjustment to alignment. Plus the engine and compressor need to stay in good mechanical conditiona as well.
