I am doing a engine out of frame overhaul, #6 needed a sleeve installed, I sent the block to our local cat dealer to have the work done, I also had them install the cam bearings. I was just about to start putting the engine together and noticed that the only cam bearing lined up with to oil hole was #1, and the other bearings the oil hole is to the top @ 12:00 o' clock I looked in the manual and it says there right. So my question is, is this right and if so how do the bearings get lubed. Thanks

Thanks for the reply that what I had thought, but when looking at the bearing oil hole I could not see the grove, so I got a small zip tie and was able to get under the bearing there is a grove. I just wanted to be sure. This is a great way to get good info. fast. Thanks again.
