What was the content of that posting ?
Was some looking for a Dual-Fuel MAK engine or just a retrofit?

I am interrested in modifying a 3516B engine for heavier fuel blends. I have read there are a list of publications available ( lekq6107 through 6110) but can't find them anywhere.
can you tell me more about this ( i.e. where can I read this documentation) and summerize parts on engine that have to be modified. I guess, injectors must be different from those used on diesel fuel, fuel filters might also be different but what else. thanks for a prompt reply.
another question is, what is the difference between a regular 3516 and a marine 3516 engine?

Hi,
This is an MaK (electic power) solution and we don't use Adam 3 or Sogav's at this solution.
Best reagrds

Hi John,
The engine will keep its original, full, liquid fuel capability and the existing liquid fuel
system will not be modified. The engine will be equipped with an additional gaseous fuel
system consisting of:
- electronically controlled gas admission valves (one per cylinder)
- gas fuel manifold
- gas pressure regulator incl. shut off valve (mounted off the engine)
- detonation control system and sensors
- temperature and pressure sensors and monitoring system
- electronic control unit
Best regards
Thomas

Thomas,
Thank you for your feedback!
What are the brands of Gas Admission Valves, ECU and Knock control?
I am just intrested from technology point of view.
