I am out on a project with VERY limited tools (multimeter, leatherman and a crescent wrench, no joke, but that's the Seabees for ya). Whenever I turn on the lights the relay buzzes (noticed it after fixing the backup alarm short), thought it was the relay so I dropped a new one in, still buzzing so I know the relay is good. I take the connector off of pin 87 and out works fine, one single click open and closed when I remove/replace the relay. Checked the wires, both hots have +12v (+/- .2) with the key on/engine off, other 2 have continuity to chassis ground (can't remember the ohm reading). I've spent 2 days (well night shift) chasing wires that lead me everywhere but the solution. What its going on here? Did I miss something? Any ideas or words of encouragement are greatly welcomed.
