After a recent overhaul [?] on my Backhoe the motor oil is disappearing and re appearing in the hydraulic system. Any advice would be appreciated..

Is the hyd oil turning black? The hyd pump is mounted on the back of the trans so I know that the engine oil is not going through the trans adn getting to the hyd pump.  You say recent overhaul?  did whoever did it hook all the lines back up to the proper places, that is my guess.  Confirm all the lines are in the proper locations and go from there.

I don't think it's possible. I would sample the hyd oil. Make reference to the oil levels engine, trans and hyd. Run for a few hours and see if your making oil in hyd system.

To clarify, the engine oil is getting into the transmission system not the hyrdaulic system. There must be a seal leaking, trying to figure a way to repair without pulling the engine again.. Thankyou
