Recently our 247 track machine started acting up after about 15 minutes of running.  The tracks will just slowly start to cut in and out.  The longer it runs the harder it becomes to move and eventually leading to complete failure and is a paper weight.  After the machine cools down you can hop in it and drive it no problems at all for 15 minutes.  When the tracks start to cut in and out you can drive it but once met with resistance such as pushing dirt or anything it just cuts out 100%.  It will not even go up a hill when it starts acting up.  A few suggestions we already have gotten were  One of the track motors is failing,  Another was the parking break is shorting out and coming on.  I just flushed 90% of the systems hydraulics by taking off every line and blowing it out,  I even cleared all the cylinders,  Put a new Cat filter and the higher grade hydraulic fluid.  It worked for about an hour this time till it started acting up but it is acting up again.  

When driving it when it start to act up its like you hit and invisible wall and it will just dead stop if you're going up a hill or sometimes even on flat ground,  And it takes a lot of coaxing to get it to move again,  If you get stuck going forward usually you can get it to go back wards or you can walk it back and forth by working the control stick back and forth moving each track individually....  Its a really odd problem and we have gotten a lot of different opinions Im pretty much open to anything at this point.   The good people at CAT said they think its a motor failure and if that's the case the other one will eventually go and then end in total failure and probably kill the main pump.  But then again that was just hearing about the problem they have yet to look at the machine itself, but would end up trouble shooting muchlike we are right now...  We just took the solenoid off that runs the parking brake and my partner just ran it to CAT to get checked.

Any insight would be appreciated...

I guess I should add that even when the tracks fail that I have all lift and tilt functions at 100%.

 You said that you changed the hydraulic filter? I would cut the filter open and check for metal,if you were having some kind of failure in your hydraulic drive system the filter would catch it this may rule out if it is your motor or pump that is at fault.

We have a 943 Cat track loader that is doing the same thing. We tried changing the precharge hydraulic pump, but as soon as it gets heated up it does it again. So like you, we are looking for HELP. We did check our filter and there was nothing in it, so what next?

I have a similar problem , our 262 runs fine for about 10 mins depending on how much traveling is done then it seems to applly the brake and the brakes begine to squeal , let the machine cool off for several hours or over night and its fine for another 10 mins then repaeats. if the machine is not moving but is mostly loading it does not have this problem until it starts to travel, leading us to think it is a problem with the park brake, mechanic says hydraulic fliud is flowing past the sealsleaving the brake applied all the time, has anyone experienced this before and can you help?

Has the local Cat dealer been involved with your issues?  Any troubleshooting done by Cat field service or shop techs.  They can run pressure tests to see if the is oil by-passing seals, or pumps and/or motors have reduced pressures. The pumps and drive motors in the skidsteers and the 943 track loader are piston type units...they can move a lot of oil quickly....downside to these pumps is their tolerances are very close and if there is internal wear, so when the oil is cold...it tends to be slightly thicker, even though it is a 10W oil, as it heats up, it thins out and more oil can bypass areas in the pumps/motors.

More than likely door or seat switch.  I think you may have answered your own question when you said your partner jumped the parkbrake solenoid and drove it to cat.
