We have a D5M in Africa with transmission problem. The transmission was recently overhauled and a new pump fitted, TC also overhauled. The machine ran fine for 3 weeks and then had this problem: after 4 hours at work the trans starts to loose power and overheat. If the machines stops for two hours and cools it will then run again for 4 hours and then the same problem again. We've changed the oli and run pressure tests. The pressure is OK for about 3 1/2 hours and then starts to drop as the trans overheats.
Any one have an idea what the problem might be. We used all new CAT part when did the trans.
