Hi Guys

I need to order cylinder heads for my 3512 Engines. When Isearch in SIS I find the option for Type 1 or 2 heads. how do I determine which is the correct one for my Engines?

Type 1 cylinder heads have been replaced with type 2. The part number for remanufactured heads is 10R8844. PLEASE post the genset serial number.

Thank very Much for The Reply. I did get a response from cat with the screen shot below showing exactly what you stated. My question now is where can I find the part number change info in SIS? I've searched all options and can't find that info. I suspect it may be for dealers only, but if anyone knows please share!

The customer version is SIS does not have access to NPR, which shows part number changes. Your local Cat dealer can check part numbers for changes.
