Power Generation: Product Operation and Maintenance

I have a CAT 3406 genset with 103-1837-3 control panel. I am trying to connect the remote auto starting signal to this control board and cannot find the correct point for connections. I have no wiring diagram and local CAT dealer is not much help. The serial for the genset is 2WB17170. Can someone please help me on this. Thanks a lot.

Hi

The number you supplied is the sticker on the panel. I am sure you have the EMCP 2 type control panel.

You need to wire across terminal 57 and 30. If in auto and these are connected then the engine will start.

For EMCPII Control panel, the remote start signal: link wire 57 and 30, 30 is linked to negative(-).
