For CAT genset with ECM, local control panel communicate with engine ECM and get information through J1939
Now, I want to remain the local control panel and increase one Remote Control Panel.
I hope the remote control panel also get infrmation from ECM through J1939.
Are there any problems? Does any experience this?
Regards,

Hi wtc2008
I have a lot of projects with CAT gensets equipped with EMCP3 and ECM. They work in parallel wiht other gensets and/or with the grid. For that, it was necessary to install another module to sync and share load. We connect J1939 of the EMCP together with this new module and we don't have any problem. The new module can read many data from J1939 and the baud rate remains the same. Make sure to use the right cable and put 120 ohm resistor at the end of the line.
