Dear sir,
As I know, the EMCP3.1does not feature Remote communication function except that you change them into EMCP3.2.
Emcp3.2 use MODBUS RTU with RS485 connection
The EMCPII+ is older panel which use CAT DATA LINK coumuncate with genset.
It needs a protocol translater between EMCPII+ and SCADA(such as PL1000).
The SCADA could build into MODBUS network with top PC as Master and all gensets as Slave.
Hope Helpful!

All those gensets have J1939 interface, right?
Do you want to do your own PLC and screen programming, or purchase a complete system?
There are many ways to get J1939 data to MODBUS on RS485 or on TCP/IP, then you can define your own screens and HMI.
Just depends on how much customization you want to do? How "remote" is the control room? 100 meters? 1000 meters? 100KM?
I will write you on your email.
Steve
