Power Generation: Site Design, Installation, and Connection

I'm a marketing student working on a sales proposal project.  For our project, we're working with the C175-16 Generator Set (standby power, 3100 eKW).  I was wondering if anyone on this board knew had any pricing information about this product?  We're having a difficult time finding this information.

Also, if anyone has used or has been around this product, how would you rate it in terms of quality and performance?  Any responses would be greatly appreciated.

Your local Cat industrial dealer would be happy to answer this question...I went the product launch of the C175 a few years ago. Frankly it was premuture...They needed to get on top of the rateing issue BEFORE they offered it for sale. We tried to buy a few but they wouldn't confirm prime power rateing vs. standby at that time. I seem to recall we were looking at @ 600.00 USD per KW installed....As for performance... Like other Cat gensets 3500 , 3600 series the C175 is an impressive machine that will offer long service if USED CORRECTLY!
