Hello, I am fairly new to generators, and IM pretty sure I have everything I need except for 1 key part. I have the 12 wire winding configuration wired to Series star, however the manual that were included with the 3 generators I have all refer to the AVR being an R436?R438 ( its not sitting in front of me) and the model I have is an R250. I know there is another wire (at least one more) that I have to change for the AVR to pick up the higher voltage. Can someone please point me in the right direction... Im deployed in Afghanistan and we need this generator to run a water pump. We are dropping into a well we just drilled.

Also the two red wires that connect in with the winding terminals and go to the AVR on the 0V, 110V when I read through the wiring schematics for the generator ( back of the manual) it shows these connections wire number 2, and 3 are connected to T8 and T11 do these wires need to follow T8 and T11 throughout any wiring configuration?
Any and all extra information to double check, add on, be on the look out for would be greatly appreciated. Safety and long lasting equipment are key... The closest cat rep to where I am is in Pakistan and that is just not an option.

For OLY GEP65-9, the standard governor is mechanical and AVR is R250, the control panel is PW1.1 , 1.1+or 2.1.
If you want 480/277V, the frequency should be 60Hz according to alternator manual.It is unnecessary to change the wiring conection of alternator.
The star series connection is fitable for 50/60Hz.
1. Change the engine mechanical covernor to 1800RPM. (adjust the throte level directly)
2. Rotate R250 to 60Hz LAM13%(4 ITEMS).
3. Change the configuration in PW control to increase the OVERSPEED PROTECTION TO 2124RPM. Additional, other parameters about frequency and voltage and soon.
