Will the EMCP remote monitoring software facilitate monitoring of multiple locations?

I have a customer that has multiple Gas Compression locations each with a generator.  The customer is interested in having the capability to remotely monitor these locations via internet.  Is it possible to monitor these locations with the software?  Is there an address table feature for non-modem sites?  Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  This is a first for me.  Thank you.

Re: Will the EMCP remote monitoring software facilitate monitoring of multiple locations?

1. If you get CAT monitoring software of EMCP3, You could use it  directly.

2. The problem is about communication, how to link the EMCP with PC through internet.

3. I do not think the Register Address is necessary if not progrem new one.

Hope Helpful.

Thank you wtc2008-There are protocols for using the EMCP remote sotware over the internet.  I have just never had a request for multiple locations to be monitored from a single station.

Re: Will the EMCP remote monitoring software facilitate monitoring of multiple locations?

If you use something like the Monico Gateway, it will provide an IP address over Ethernet. When you have all your gensets on unique Ethernet IP addresses, then you open all avenues. By using standard IT routers and firewalls, you can maintain almost infinite number of generators and almost infinite number of locations on the same monitoring system. As long as you stay with a local PC using CAT software, you will be severely limited in what you can reliably accomplish. Monico has customers that have thousands of devices connected across hundreds of locations all from one server. If you want help with this, just contact us on the web.
