Be sure to take advantage of these online community features. Additional details on how to use each of them can be found on the Help page.
Kudos
Give your fellow community members points for posts you find interesting. This helps draw attention to them by featuring them on the right side of the Community home page and board pages. Just click the star icon to give that message and author a point. (Sorry, no giving Kudos to yourself!)
Solution
If you post a question, and another user gives you the answer you needed, click the Accept as Solution button next to that answer. This will highlight the post as the Solution to your problem, and flag your thread as “Solved” on the board. It will also help boost the status of the user that gave the answer.
Tags
Tags are key words that help catalog posts. You may have noticed the Top Tag box on the right side of community pages. This “tag cloud” shows the most common tags, and the most popular ones are shown first in darker type. Click on a tag, for example “fuel,” to see a list of posts related to that tag. You can tag your own posts and other users’ posts to help everyone quickly find the topics of interest to them.
Float to the Top
If you find one thread is of particular interest to you, you can move it to the top of your view of the board. In the thread, click on "Topic Options" and choose "Float this Topic to the Top". The thread will now show at the top of the board for your convenience when you are signed in. If you no longer want to see that thread at the top, click on "Topic Options" and then "Un-float this Topic".
More details on how to use each of these features can be found on the Help page.
If you have suggestions for a new feature please use our Feedback and Suggestion board.

Add a Signature Line
Your Signature is a tag line that will be automatically included in all your posts. It helps people understand your perspective and experience. For example “Jeff24, Certified Electric Power Contractor.” To add yours, near the top left of the screen click on "My Settings." Then on the Personal Profile tab, click on "Personal Information." Input your Signature, then click "Save Changes" at the bottom of the screen.
Personal Profile
You can easily share your information with other members of the community, such as employer, job title, and industry. Near the top left of the screen click on "My Settings." Then on the Personal Profile tab, click on "Personal Information" and fill in as much information as you like. Once you have submitted your changes, click the Preferences tab and then Privacy to select the privacy settings you prefer to control who can see your information. To view another user’s profile simply click on their user name anywhere you see it in the community. Subscriptions Alert You of Posts of Interest
The Subscriptions feature will send you an email with updates on topics of interest to you. When you find a board or thread you would like to monitor, click the “Board Options” or “Thread Options” drop down, and choose “Add to My Subscriptions.” Once you have subscribed you can control the format and frequency of emails by clicking on “My Settings” near the top left of the screen, then on the “Subscriptions & Bookmarks” tab.
Use RSS Feeds to Stay Current
RSS (really simple syndication) puts content from this site in a simple format that serves as an automatic feed to your browser, RSS reader, or another website. Click the “Board Options” or “Thread Options” drop down, and choose “Subscribe to RSS Feed.” Most browsers will show a link on the page to add it to your browser. Or you can copy and paste the URL into sites like iGoogle to put them on your personal page.
